What is FLEX RECORD?

When we started out as Montessori teachers, we had this idealistic hope that we would spend every day inspiring and following the children.  We soon realised that there was a lot of paperwork and official documents that had to be in place, at all times.

So we designed FLEX!

FLEX RECORD is an online planning, recording and management system, designed by Montessori teachers, who wanted to focus on ‘doing Montessori’.

FLEX is intuitive to learn, and effective in supporting teachers get stuff done, while still focussing on the children’s work.

We have the same team that developed Waterpark’s online learning environment, committed to update and develop FLEX to match education’s ever changing needs.

Planning and Recording

  • Plan activities for an individual student or a group of students, from desktop or mobile.

  • Record and view student progress as you go.

  • Generate quick or detailed reports throughout the school year.

Flexible Activity Lists

  • Use our built-in activity lists (for ages 0 – 12), add your own activities, or combine.
  • View activity usage at a glance to see what you need to plan next.

Interactive Calendar

  • The calendar allows you to easily view and edit your plans and past events.
  • ​You can also plan and record directly from the calendar, or drag and drop activities to reschedule.

SMS Notifications

  • Communicate important information to parents and staff with the SMS (short message service) function.
  • Contact the whole school, an individual, or a selected group. 
  • ​Choose to send a message immediately or schedule for later.

Link Montessori Activities to Government Curriculum

  • Link Montessori activities directly to a state/government curriculum, for easier reporting and accountability.
